Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

About the Role

You'll be aigard's first technical hire, owning the full stack of our platform for running mass claim proceedings at scale. Working directly with founders, you'll build everything from the AI-powered data pipeline through to the control surfaces for lawyers, CFOs, and operations teams. This is a rare opportunity to shape a product from prototype to live operation in a regulated, high-stakes domain.

What You'll Do

• Develop and operate the full platform—frontend, backend, and infrastructure—as the sole technical founder.
• Build intuitive control surfaces for case management, claims tracking, deadlines, reporting, and scenario analysis that lawyers can use without training.
• Design and implement APIs integrating with clients' case, contract, payment, and CRM systems, as well as law firms, legal software, and settlement agents.
• Create data pipelines that transform statements of claim and official notices into structured cases using AI-supported workflows.
• Embed security and auditability from day one: tenant separation, least privilege access, encryption, and complete logging.
• Partner closely with founders and clients from requirements gathering through go-live and beyond.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience with at least one product built and deployed to production.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js; confident with PostgreSQL and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs, RAG systems, or document processing pipelines.
• Track record building products in early-stage startups and interfaces handling tens of thousands of records.
• Experience in regulated industries with enterprise clients, including familiarity with audits and standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or TISAX.
• Strong grasp of API design, data modelling, and running production systems.
• C1-level German and comfort engaging directly with clients.
• Independent, accountable mindset with appetite for complex domains.
