Production Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a 3rd Shift Section Supervisor to coordinate machine operations, lead production personnel, and directly troubleshoot injection molding processes on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Hands‑on troubleshooting of injection molding process and tooling issues on the production floor. Supervise, direct, and evaluate machine operators daily to ensure production schedules and safety standards are met. Monitor machinery using production cards and inspection sheets, taking swift action to alleviate machine problems and minimize downtime. Assist setup personnel as needed to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules. Complete paperwork to track production efficiencies and identify potential bottleneck areas. Assign, evaluate, and work with associates to address production problems, provide opportunities, and enhance job satisfaction. Enforce all safety procedures and regulations to create a safe environment and minimize liability. Recommend equipment changes or modifications to improve operating efficiency and control costs. Qualifications Shift availability for the 3rd Shift. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in plastics injection molding. Hands‑on knowledge of setting molds, troubleshooting peripheral equipment, and managing resins. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operate/maintain assembly equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience level: Experienced. Physical Requirements Move continuously across the production floor. Perform physical tasks including ascending/descending machines and retrieving objects at floor level. Operate at or above shoulder level and work with minute objects/tools. Distinguish colors, determine distances, and communicate clearly with the team. Manual lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for up to 7 hours at a time, working up to 6 hours of overtime per week.
