Applicants can verify the company’s state license and credentials by visiting Role Description The Loan Officer role is a full-time hybrid position based in Pleasanton, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding applicants through the loan process, and clearly explaining product options, rates, and terms. Day-to-day activities include assessing borrower eligibility, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, coordinating with underwriting, and ensuring timely and accurate loan processing. The Loan Officer will maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate partners, and internal teams while adhering to all regulatory and company compliance requirements. The role also involves meeting production goals, keeping detailed records in loan origination systems, and providing ongoing follow-up to deliver a high-quality borrower experience. Qualifications Experience as a Loan Officer with a solid understanding of residential mortgage products and lending regulations. Strong knowledge of Finance, including income analysis, debt-to-income ratios, and credit evaluation. Familiarity with Underwriting principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams. Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships. Hands-on experience with Loan Origination systems and end-to-end loan origination processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities both in-office and remotely. Relevant state licensing as a mortgage Loan Officer (or ability to obtain, if required) and adherence to ethical lending practices.
