Office Manager Job Summary:


PrideStaff is working with an established manufacturing and distribution company seeking an Office Manager to join its growing team. The Office Manager will be responsible for organizing office operations and overseeing office personnel. The ideal Office Manager has at least four years of office administration experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity. The Office Manager is a full-time, direct-hire position in Vicksburg, MS.


Office Manager Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee & Organize Office Operations & Procedures Including Bookkeeping, Payroll, Correspondence, Filing, Supply Requisitions & all Other Clerical Services
  
• Supervise 1-7 Direct Reports in Accordance with Company's Policies & Applicable Laws; Including Hiring, Training, Planning Assignments & Appraising Performance
  
• Support and assist with customer service & inside sales activities as needed
  
• Maintain & Purchase Inventory for Stock & Direct Shipments, Coordinate Deliveries to Maintain Adequate Stock Levels
  
• Track Receipt & Disbursement of Supplies & Maintain Inventory Information
  
• Update as Needed Vendor & Customer Price Books & Verify any Price Increases
  
• Record & Track Product Pricing & Freight Rates
  
• Maintain Sales & Management Reports
  
• May be Asked to Manage & Inspect Hazardous Waste Spills & Storage Based on Emergency Action or Contingency Plan Including Preparation of Hazardous Waste Records.

Office Manager Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  
• 4+ Years of Related Experience
  
• 2+ Years of Supervisory Experience or the Equivalent in Combination of Education & Experience
  
• Strong customer service skills & experience

• Must be Computer Literate & Have a Working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
