Your Role in This Adventure

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on certification)
• Guiding patients and families through prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with practice guidelines
• Participating in patient follow-up care and chronic condition management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records within electronic systems

Qualifications for the Journey

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Key Certifications Required

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
