Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager duties:
Commercial Project Management, in office position in the College Park/Hyattsville area.
Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm/5pm
- Post completed quotes on the shared drive folder/Filemaker.
- Keep a communication log on when follow ups were made regarding shop
- Respond to quote requests, completely and accurately, within 1-2 working
days of request (whenever possible).
- Create a Time-Line using Excel spreadsheet.
- Provide shop drawings within time frame promised.
- Advise of any delays or cost increases as soon as they occur.
- Physically inspect the job weekly, at current station(s) for accuracy.
- After receipt of purchase order, follow the procedure below;
- Once released for Fab, follow up with Scheduler on a twice-weekly basis,
fill in all required fields and hand out at the weekly production meeting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project documentation
- Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
- Assist with estimation and bidding process
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
