Utilize structural analysis software for design, such as: Leap Bridge Concrete, Leap Bridge Steel, Open Bridge Modeler, STAAD, SAP2000, etc. Complete design tasks with supervision and learn to work independently Coordinate the structural design with other disciplines and construction team Become familiar with various structural standards and building codes such as: AASHTO, AREMA, and UPRR/BNSF guidelines Compile data and perform calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design studies Collaborate with Bridge and Rail Team and all company disciplines Conduct bridge inspections and assist in supervision of site investigations as needed Other duties: Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
