Job Title: Hydraulic Mechanic Job Description
Join a leading commercial aviation MRO facility as a Hydraulic Mechanic. You will be part of the Components Division, specializing in the repair and overhaul of various actuators related to aircraft systems such as landing gear, flaps, and cowlings. Work in a dynamic environment surrounded by specialized shops including structures/composites, machine shop, accessories, and avionics.
Responsibilities

• Perform pressure testing of pumps, valves, actuators, and fuses on systems for flight controls, doors, seats, and flaps.
• Diagnose and repair systems by inspecting, removing, and replacing seals, sleeves, and cylinders.
• Refer parts for further specialty repair as needed.
• Reassemble systems and conduct tests for recertification.
• Follow maintenance manuals for accurate diagnostics and repair procedures.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in repairing hydraulics, pumps, and valves for aircraft, vehicles, or ships.
• Ability to read diagrams and tool lists to select appropriate tools including various sockets, hand and power tools, measurement tools, and hand wrenches.
• Eligibility for FAA DOT safety-sensitive hire.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an Outside Machinist or Machinists Mate from the Navy, Boatswain's Mate (\"AB\" or \"ABE\" or \"ABH\"), or in heavy equipment repair is ideal.

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean MRO facility within the Components Division building. The setting includes specialized sections for different aircraft system types. Initial training will take place during the first week on the day shift, with hours ranging from 24 to 40. Thereafter, the regular shift is from 1pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
