Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team in the medical industry. This position will require the candidate to work Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5p. The ideal candidate will have experience in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Checking vitals, and in a Gastroenterology clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Taking and recording patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Preparing patients for exams and procedures
Assisting physicians and nurses during exams and procedures
Administering medications as directed by physicians
Performing basic lab tests and specimen collection
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Providing patient education and instructions as directed by physicians
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Other duties as assigned by the physician or clinic manager
Qualifications:
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting
Experience with Gastroenterology preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
