Overview Product Acceptance Specialist (Contract) – North Charleston, SC, United States (On-site) Contract (12 months) – Published 2 days ago Client: Boeing contract assignment note: this posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. This posting is for an on-site role based in North Charleston, South Carolina. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Physical requirements: none specified. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role. Primary Responsibilities Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures. Supports inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statements most of the time. Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items. Conducts product reviews with customer during product or process verification. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action. Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA). This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the North Charleston, SC site. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry. 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES. Composite fabrication experience. Structural work experience (wing work). Wiring. Production testing experience. 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) A&P License. Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis. Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool-assisted inspection methods. Experience in a team environment. Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience. 787 Program Experience. Additional Notes Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment. 5-6 weeks of training.
