Strategic Finance Manager

A leading private equity firm with a multi-decade track record. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives to improve how financial information is produced, managed, and used across the firm — spanning forecasting, reporting, and underlying data processes Own and enhance elements of the firm's forecasting and planning processes, ensuring models, assumptions, and outputs are supported by consistent methodologies and reliable data Partner cross-functionally with Fund, GP, and Management Company Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, and Operations teams to align financial assumptions and standardize outputs Drive design, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance processes including forecasting cycles, reporting workflows, and data management Support implementation and optimization of financial systems, reporting tools, and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) with a focus on scalability, usability, and automation Enhance the firm's control environment through process improvements, automation, and AI-enabled solutions Establish and maintain standardized definitions, drivers, and assumptions used across planning and reporting — contributing to a consistent single source of truth Develop and deliver financial analyses, scenario modeling, and reporting materials for senior leadership Implement controls, validation checks, and governance practices to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data Continuously evaluate opportunities to scale and streamline finance operations as the firm grows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field with FP&A or strategic finance experience CPA or CFA highly preferred Significant progressive experience in finance, strategy, analytics, or accounting Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow dynamics, and performance drivers Demonstrated ability to drive projects and implement process improvements across teams Ability to scrutinize and challenge project assumptions; interpret strategies through a financial lens Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement Collaborative team member able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively Competitive base salary plus performance bonus.
