Logistics Coordinator

Altius Talent is partnering with an established logistics provider seeking an experienced Domestic Logistics Coordinator to join its San Diego operation. This position will manage complex, high-value and time-critical shipments across the United States, with a particular focus on airfreight, trade shows, medical devices and specialist cargo. Responsibilities Coordinate domestic air, FTL, LTL and expedited shipments Manage shipments from initial booking through final delivery Select and negotiate with carriers based on service, cost and urgency Provide customers with proactive shipment updates Prepare quotes and maintain accurate operational records Resolve delays, exceptions and service issues Work closely with carriers, customers and internal departments Ensure documentation and billing information are completed accurately Requirements Previous domestic freight forwarding or logistics experience Strong knowledge of domestic air and ground transportation Experience handling urgent, high-value or complex freight Confident communicating with customers and carriers Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments Calm, commercially aware and solutions-focused under pressure This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist logistics team handling interesting freight rather than repetitive, high-volume shipments. #J-18808-Ljbffr Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment
