Automobile Technician

Job Description

The Automobile Technician will work within a small team to service a variety of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, and heavy-duty trucks. Utilizing standard automotive tools and advanced diagnostic equipment, they will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. The role offers opportunities for career growth through training, certification support, and advancement to lead technician or management positions. No travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools
Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections
Repair engines, brake systems, electrical systems, and transmissions
Replace parts and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Ensure quality assurance standards are met on all repairs
Utilize digital repair manuals and manufacturer-specific equipment

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in automobile repair
Valid driver's license
Expertise in automotive diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and transmission repair
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Experience with technical documentation and attention to detail
Effective time management abilities
