Role Description This IS NOT a 9-5 job where your boss yells at you to make 100 calls a day and forces you to work OT that you may not get fully paid for. If this is what you want dont apply. This is a full-time, hybrid Financial Representative/Advisor position that runs through the Sales Agent to Financial Representative to the Advisor role. The position does require you to attend vital training and interaction with your management team, but you control your schedule and can plan around family events when needed. It is hybrid as you need to get out and meet your clients and build a solid prospecting system for continued growth. This position is based in Sandy, UT, where, after providing you with some of the best and most extensive training in the industry, you can obtain your certifications and advance to a financial advisor role. While training, you can use your entrepreneurial spirit to learn how to best run your own practice with oversight, direction, and mentoring from your partner. New York Life prides itself on developing you to be the best you can be, provided you put in the effort. The company invests about $300,000 in your state if the art training and tools that will assist you in learning how to make your business a success. In these roles, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, providing financial products and insurance solutions, and achieving monthly sales goals to receive a training allowance. Daily tasks include building ling term relationships while consulting with clients to identify their retirement, insurance, and financial needs. Recommending tailored solutions that specifically meet their goals and needs, while delivering excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include participating in weekly training programs to stay updated on industry trends and compliance regulations.
