At Peace Healthcare Agency is looking for experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their homes and communities. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship Encourage independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other intellectual and developmental disabilities Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) Encourage socialization, community participation, and meaningful activities Accompany individuals to medical appointments, therapy sessions, work, and community activities Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment Complete accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and goal tracking Protect individual privacy and maintain HIPAA confidentiality Provide reliable transportation when required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for DSPs who are: Experienced – Previous DSP or direct-care experience required Compassionate – You genuinely care about the people you support Dependable – You can be counted on to provide consistent support Patient & Adaptable – Every individual has unique needs and preferences Strong Communicators – You can communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members Hands-On & Supportive – Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs Preferred Experience: Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs Experience implementing Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) Experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities Knowledge of person-centered care and individual rights REQUIREMENTS Previous DSP experience required Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Ability to pass required background checks and screeningsAbility to work independently and responsibly Ability to assist with mobility and personal care as needed JOB DETAILS Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Schedule: Flexible scheduling available Work Location: In-person Setting: Home & Community-Based Services MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
