The Scrum Master plays a critical role in the support of a software development and administration team in the planning, implementation, and enhancement of the Software Asset Management application. This role supports the agency’s mission by leveraging advanced IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes to ensure:
- Accurate asset tracking
- Operational transparency
- Regulatory adherence
This individual mentors team members, collaborates across CMS departments and vendors, and establishes dashboards to track program success and deliver measurable results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- At least 1+ years of experience in Agile development environment
Requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) or equivalent Agile project management certification
- Expertise in Agile project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow Agile, Jira, Confluence)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work rapidly in a high tempo environment that often requires multitasking
- Experience with software development or working in a software development organization
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines and DevOps concepts
- Ability to create, sustain, and enhance fostering of team dynamics and collaboration
- Energetic, goal oriented, proactive, innovative, hardworking, and patient
