Be one of the first to apply — offer rates tend to be higher at this stage Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications along with an active OH or compact RN license. Details Emergency Department setting caring for a combined adult and pediatric patient population Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5 EPIC charting experience required First to float across Mansfield, Shelby, Ontario, and Ashland EDs Every other weekend and every other holiday required Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS TNCC and ALS certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required Level II Trauma Center experience preferred Experience in a STEMI and Stroke Certified facility preferred Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and ventilated patient care Proficiency in ABG interpretation and continuous IV sedation/vasopressor administration Experience managing neurological emergencies including CVA, TBI, and spinal cord injury Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and triage Additional Information Provide emergency care for trauma, shock, gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, and pediatric emergencies Handle head injuries, near drowning incidents, and orthopedic trauma cases Utilize isolation precautions and PPE protocols Maximum RTO of 10 days per contract, with no RTO permitted during initial weeks of the assignment Permanent residence must be more than 100 miles from OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH Attendance policy: more than one call-off results in termination; no call/no show results in immediate termination RNs must have a 366-day separation from prior OhioHealth employment before returning as a traveler PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed in a PRN role Free parking available in unrestricted spaces without requiring a pass These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
