As our Plant Controller you will be responsible for working closely with the Operations leadership team to ensure operating efficiency and achievement of key performance indicators that drive plant performance and profitability. This role is a key business partner to our leadership team and, as such, broad business acumen and operational experience is required. This individual is also responsible for the accuracy of the manufacturing facility's financial statements and preparation of related reporting.What you will do…Forecast manufacturing facility financial results monthlyLead annual budgeting process and related ongoing variance analysisDesign and implement KPI dashboards; perform monthly variance analysisPrepare and lead monthly presentations of financial results to Corporate LeadershipPrepare ROI analyses associated with material capital spending requestsDesign and implement internal controls and procedures related to inventory management and operational activities. Oversee and maintain the cycle counting programWork with plant leadership team to identify and drive opportunities that will fuel plant growth, efficiency, and profitabilityWork with managers in understanding, interpreting, and optimizing departmental P&LsPerform special projects and ad hoc analysis as neededLead corporate financial audits at the site levelLead end of year inventory and external auditor engagementsLead tax abatement efforts for capital projectsTrack and maintain tax deductible plant activities, for example R&D and plant trial activitiesInterpret contracts and terms and conditions to reduce exposure and riskWhat you will bring…BA / BS in Accounting or related field5 years' experience in a plant financial positionProven experience in driving process improvementStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parametersWell-developed written and oral presentation skillsAbility to coach and communicate with non-accounting professionalsAbility to collaborate and influence cross-functionallyEnergized by fast paced environmentGreat relationship management abilitiesMS Office and ERP system proficiency required.
