Pediatric Radiology Faculty Position

Position Overview The Department of Radiology at Stanford University and Stanford Children’s Health seeks a pediatric radiologist. This full‑time position will be open rank in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. Faculty appointment is based on excellence in clinical care, teaching, scholarly activity, and service. Academic rank and line will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications and experience. The new hire will contribute to the continued expansion of Pediatric Radiology and support the academic mission of Stanford Children’s Health and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Qualifications M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) or equivalent. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in a clinical specialty. Completed a formal clinical training program or equivalent training/experience. Experience and interests aligned with clinical care, research, or leadership in pediatric radiology. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality clinical care to pediatric patients across a full range of primary to quaternary services. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in radiology and related disciplines. Conduct scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, including research, publication, and presentation. Participate in departmental service activities and contribute to programmatic needs. Compensation and Benefits The expected base pay range for this position is as follows: Specialty #1: Pediatric Radiology Assistant Professor: $426,000 - $444,000 Associate Professor: $459,000 - $477,000 Full Professor: $497,000 - $524,000 Specialty #2: Pediatric Interventional Radiology Assistant Professor: $451,000 - $469,000 Associate Professor: $484,000 - $502,000 Full Professor: $522,000 - $549,000 Pay is based on faculty rank, years in rank, and comparable market data.
