Location: Remote within the US (EST or CST preferred)

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $55k base ($70k OTE)

Our client is hiring a Sales Development Representative to help grow the business by qualifying incoming leads, generating new opportunities, and closing smaller deals. The company provides specialized testing, certification, calibration, and compliance services to healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, and other highly regulated industries.

This is a hands-on sales role that combines responding to customer inquiries with outbound prospecting. You'll be the first point of contact for new leads, connect qualified opportunities with sales team members, and manage smaller deals from initial inquiry through closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries
• Identify customer needs and connect qualified prospects with the appropriate sales team member
• Make daily outbound calls and follow up with prospective customers
• Manage and close deals independently
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Prior professional experience in a phone-based, goal-driven role, such as sales, recruiting, call center operations, or retail sales
• Strong organization, urgency, and follow-through
• Confidence making outbound calls and speaking with new prospects
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Coachability and ability to work independently from home
• Customer relationship management software experience is a plus
• Spanish language skills are a plus

No industry experience required. Training will be provided.
