Oncology Market Access Senior Manager

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement compelling product value propositions across key market segments under the guidance of the OMAS Director or Senior Director. 

• Assist in creating and driving launch access strategies to secure and maintain access, reimbursement, and affordability. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market insights from patients, providers, and payers, informing comprehensive market access strategies. 

• Lead the development of field resources, programs, and tactics to implement market access strategies. 

• Support account management teams in customer strategy, planning, and execution, including training and promotional tools/resources. 

• Ensure alignment of strategy with sales organization to drive product demand. 

• Manage agency relationships to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of promotional programs. 
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Alliance counterparts to ensure collaboration, appropriate alignment and highly effective partnerships

• Develop and manage budgets in compliance with AstraZeneca finance and accounting requirements. 

• Conduct all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies. 

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree. 

• 3+ years of proven years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical market including payer marketing, brand marketing, market research, account management, and/or field sales. 

• Strong or emerging understanding of the U.S. market access landscape and the legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals. 

• Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into tactical implementation. 

• Teamwork and leadership skills, including the ability to gain consensus and act within ambiguous, complex matrix organization. 

• Results oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

• Thorough understanding of customer and industry marketing practices and trends. 

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%). 

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Relevant Advanced Degree, e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, etc. 

• Experience developing and executing strategy. 

• Experience in oncology and/or managed care/payer experience. 

• Experience in oncology buy-and-bill. 

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 145,205.60 - 217,808.40 USD . Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
