Veterinary Receptionist

New Berlin Animal Hospital | New Berlin, Wisconsin New Berlin Animal Hospital is looking to hire a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our fast-paced team. Our 4-doctor AAHA-accredited practice specializes in both small animals and exotics. We are proud of the care we provide for our clients and their pets and look to our receptionists to provide a positive experience for them. This position requires a high level of multitasking and attention to detail. An ideal applicant is friendly, with a positive attitude and outstanding communication skills. Being able to work as a team player, with compassion and professionalism, is essential. Strong computer skills and previous animal experience are a plus. Job Responsibilities: Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments Answer phone callswhich may include answering questions, scheduling appointments, and recording messages for doctors and staff Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email Update and file patient charts Enter data into computerized billing program Retrieve prescriptions Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items Maintain the cleanlinessof waiting room Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience Customer Service Organizational Skills Tech Savvy Team oriented All Full Time Team Members are eligible for benefits, including: Best-in-class medical, vision, and dental insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr New Berlin Animal Hospital
