Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Mammography Technologist, you will be vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion. Every day, you will expertly operate equipment, meticulously position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records. You'll collaborate with radiologists and adhere to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health. Responsibilities Produce optimum quality mammographic images meeting all licensing and regulatory standards as directed by the St. Vincent Breast Center Policy and Procedure Manual. Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with mammography policy and procedures and to radiologist’s specifications. Perform special mammography procedures according to policy and procedures and radiologist’s specifications. Perform biopsy procedures such as Mammatome, ABBI, Wire/needle localization. Perform clerical tasks as required to complete mammography procedures in the absence of the clerk. Complete all paperwork/documentation pertaining to the mammographic procedure performed. Job Requirements One (1) year experience as a Registered Technologist.
