As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge), you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the efficient operation of the clinical unit, supervising nursing staff, and providing direct patient care. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing unit activities, and ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.

Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the clinical unit, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care delivery. Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver evidence-based care tailored to individual patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal treatment outcomes. Ensure adherence to clinical policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines to maintain high-quality care standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed, promptly addressing any concerns or changes in patient condition. Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring effective communication and coordination between healthcare teams. Provide support and education to patients and families, helping them understand treatment plans and manage health conditions. Manage unit resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to ensure optimal care delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for patient concerns, staff issues, and any escalated clinical matters.

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or charge nurse role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
