Occupational Therapist - Rehab Unit

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Day Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM with a weekend rotation.

Job Description Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at a new rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing evaluation and therapy services to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
