Human Resources Generalist- Recruiter

Position overview The HR Generalist- Recruiter is responsible for HR related duties in the areas of recruiting including applicant tracking, all aspects of the companies onboarding process, maintain personnel records, employee relations, administering benefit enrollments and employment law compliance. Primary Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers and administration to identify personnel needs and then develop detailed and compliant job descriptions for appropriate job positions Organize and coordinate recruiting process (creates job postings, manage on-line postings/ATS, schedule interviews, administer assessments, extend offers, prepare new hire paperwork) Organize and implement the onboarding process for new hires (conduct new hire orientation, present and explain benefit offerings, and provide employees with a welcoming and inclusive experience) Assess potential candidates for fit within position (skills, education, competency, culture alignment) Modifies job descriptions as needed Provide employee relations support for employees and managers, including resolving issues Knowledge of Benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision/ Vol. Life/STD/LTD/FSA) Assist in 401k and benefits enrollment administration Assist HR department during open enrollment Manager and track leaves of absence Provide HR reports as needed Participate in continuous HR improvement initiatives and metrics Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR files Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience as an HR Generalist role Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws Aptitude in problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills Understanding of technology teams and how to grow and develop technology leaders Must be well organized to meet heavy workloads and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks Requires experience with various computer software programs (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS) Must demonstrate strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress Desire to learn with natural initiative and curiosity Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of employment laws such as ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and other Federal and State laws covering discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and build and maintain a positive work environment across the network Education and/ or Experience 7+ years of experience in a HR Generalist role 5+ years of experience in Recruiting/Onboarding is required High volume Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree preferred, or equivalent experience PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certifications preferred Prior construction experience preferred Must be fluent in English and Spanish Strong customer service skills Why Join ESOP Retirement Benefits are extended to all employees with participation after one year of service.
