Logistics Coordinator

Handle operational queries amongst branches, agents and clients

Handle shipping quotes and maintain freight rate management

Ensure shipping processes are being adhered to and ensure systems are kept up to date

Monitor the operational excellence to meet KPI, including OTP, Data quality, EDI, Billings

Call out irregularities to account owner when needed

Develop and maintain good relationships with client to provide insight to account owner

Statistical understanding and generating necessary reports internally/externally

Propose continuous improvements for the planning and logistics KPIs

Follow up logistics issues and claims to any operational abnormality

Support continuous logistics ad hoc tasks

Bachelor's degree (Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or associate field)

Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding and logistics (domestic or international freight forwarding) required

Experience working with key account management teams will be a plus

General knowledge of Imports/ Exports/ Contract Logistics/ Customs/ Rate

Proficient in programs used for email, word processing, data manipulation (excel spread sheets), power point presentation, and general internet skills

Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information

Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills

Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement

Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems

Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally

Candidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team

Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
