Job Details Position: Account Protection Specialist Salary: $20-30 per hour Company: American Express Location: Los Angeles, USA Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Responsibilities The Account Security Specialist oversees the use of fraud management systems/tools when monitoring existing checking/savings accounts to detect potential fraudulent activity and reduce the risk of loss for American Express by collecting and analyzing the data necessary to determine the appropriate course of action. The Account Security Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming/outgoing account calls while maintaining a professional working relationship between American Express, the customer and the external bank. Other services include identifying strategic trends and creating continuous process improvements. Minimum Qualifications Strong customer care skills: easy, understand, solve. Ability to effectively communicate American Express concerns while ensuring customers are valued. Adaptable and continuously striving to improve personal performance, customer satisfaction, and company brand. Demonstrated patience and ability to solve customer problems. Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while simultaneously interacting with a client. Excellent listening skills, establish rapport, recognize and empathize when appropriate. Strong time-management skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Experience handling incoming and outgoing calls. Eligibility of Candidates Experience working with online deposit products. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while continuing work at the same time. Ability to perform thorough analysis of each example of financial services can be unique, using internal and external databases. Conceptual and analytical skills, comfortable making decisions and recommendations in ambiguous situations. Ability to digest and synthesize large amounts of information, financial and other, from multiple sources. Strong computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of current Internet technologies, ability to analyze information for business purposes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
