Locums | OB/GYN | Clinic + Hospital, 1:4 Call | Bellefontaine, OH (Ohio license) Why This Role
- Ongoing, sporadic coverage need
- Lower-acuity OB: ~1 delivery/day (~360 births/year); high-risk typically referred to tertiary centers
- Manageable 1:4 call rotation; Level I nursery
- Collaborative 4-physician group with nursing support; Meditech Expanse EMR Assignment Details
- Coverage: ongoing, sporadic need
- Setting: clinic + hospital, OB/GYN on call
- Must be within a 30-minute radius while on call
- Call: 1:4 rotation (weekday and weekend)
- Volume: ~1 delivery/day; ~360 births/year; C-section rate ~30%
- Beds: 45 staffed + 20-room ED
- Nursery Level I
- EMR: Meditech Expanse Clinical Details
- OB required: low-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/FSE), OB ultrasound performance + interpretation (Level I/screening and Level II/targeted)
- L&D required: routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations as required
- High-risk pregnancy and VBACs not required — high-risk typically referred out Requirements
- Truly board eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or board certified
- ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Active Ohio license
- BLS, ACLS
- 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, with at least 5 C-sections (for credentialing)
- Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred Compensation
- Rate negotiable, open to your number
- Malpractice provided
- Travel and lodging reimbursed
