Duties

Help

• You will serve as the primary logistics authority coordinating with cross-functional teams (engineering, contracting, and program management) to integrate supply chain requirements into broader acquisition and sustainment strategies.
• You will identify and assess supply chain vulnerabilities, including Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and supply chain security risks, and develops robust mitigation and resilience strategies.
• You will conduct supply chain and logistics analyses utilizing metrics, demand forecasting, and modeling techniques to identify trends, mitigate disruptions, and optimize stock levels.
• You will lead the development and execution of inventory management strategies and product support plans to optimize weapon system readiness and lifecycle sustainment.
• You will establish, maintain, and oversee comprehensive property and equipment tracking systems to ensure asset visibility, lifecycle accountability, and continuous audit readiness for all organizational and program-supported equipment.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing inventory management and product support strategies to maximize weapon system readiness and/or life-cycle sustainment; contributes to transportation logistics and in-transit asset visibility for the movement of critical equipment; and/or coordinating complex supply chain analyses.
