Registered Nurse - Labor and DeliverySchedule19:00 - 19:00Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care. This role requires the utilization of the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care, while maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients.Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment and interventions.Delegate patient care priorities based on the staff's education and experience.Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust hold a valid RN license.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring are required.At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is required.Must have prior travel experience; locals will not be accepted.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
