IT Security Project Manager

Salary: $175,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, plus three years of experience in the offered role or a security engineer-related occupation.
• Three years of experience using threat intelligence feeds, product-specific risk prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end automation to develop and operate a Zero Day Response Framework.
• Three years of experience with penetration-testing techniques, security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, and scanning tools such as Nuclei to build and operate an Attack Surface Management platform.
• Three years of experience with CSPM tools such as Orca, Wiz, and Divvy; cloud security principles; SCA tools such as Snyk and Black Duck; and risk prioritization to improve vulnerability management.
• Three years of experience applying the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, cloud security principles, product context, and threat modeling to remediate cloud misconfigurations and improve cloud security posture.
• Three years of experience with scripting and security automation to create standardized reporting workflows.
• Three years of experience in risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, and product-specific impact analysis to establish vulnerability risk prioritization frameworks.
• Three years of experience with AI services, AI infrastructure, and enterprise-wide AI inventory assessment to manage AI inventories and risk posture, governance controls, and ongoing compliance and security monitoring.
• Three years of experience with Kubernetes Secure Posture Management (KSPM), Kubernetes security controls, and container orchestration security.
• Three years of experience with CI/CD shift-left security scanners, Spinnaker, and Jenkins to integrate security checks and hardening into build pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Three years of experience evaluating security tools, designing proofs of concept, and collaborating with vendors to validate solutions against business needs and maturity roadmaps.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States is required if hired.

• Plan, launch, and manage IT security projects, guiding technical staff and coordinating business and technical stakeholders.
• Track project schedules, scope, milestones, deliverables, and quality standards; identify and resolve issues with project personnel.
• Work with product teams, security teams, and leadership to understand customer needs and priorities.
• Develop and operationalize a Zero Day Response Framework for rapid threat detection, assessment, and coordinated remediation.
• Build standardized reporting workflows that provide product teams and stakeholders with consistent trends and actionable insights.
• Integrate early security checks, automated vulnerability detection, and secure configuration hardening into build pipelines and containerized application deployments.
