Department: 34536 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing: Surgical Trauma ICU 11L Status Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week 36 Schedule Details Three 12‑hour shifts per week, including two Fridays, two Saturdays, and two Sundays per six‑week scheduling period. Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit is a 29‑bed specialized unit for patients recovering from complex surgeries and life‑threatening injuries. Its primary focus is acute/emergent general surgery, surgical oncology, postpartum hemorrhage, liver transplant, and designated ICU for the region’s only Level‑1 Trauma Center. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new grads) Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
