Registered Nurse (RN) - PreSurgery Holding

Responsibilities Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring clinical readiness, patient safety, and continuity of care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures. Coordinate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate safe and efficient operative care. Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to provide therapeutic care and enhance the patient experience across the continuum. Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment for all patients. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with the surgical team. Experience in surgical or pre‑operative nursing is preferred. Location & Work Environment Pre‑Surgery Holding RN position at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) – a Level 1 Trauma center, Magnet‑designated, accredited transplant center and academic medical center located in Charlotte, NC.
