We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. There are currently four openings available for various roles including 2nd shift Label Operator (Converting Operator), Shear Operator, and 1st and 2nd shift Floater. This role is perfect for those with a keen eye for detail who enjoy ensuring smooth machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes.

• Set up machines and conduct minor maintenance as needed.

• Conduct inspections to ensure product quality meets standards.

• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.

• Work closely with the team to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor and machine operating.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to perform maintenance tasks on machines.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to pass a measurement test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Individuals with backgrounds as accountants, teachers, or librarians often excel in this role due to their detail-oriented nature.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled and quiet, allowing for a focused work experience. Employees can work with headphones on, enhancing comfort and concentration. First shift hours are from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, while the second shift runs from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason City, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
