Distribution PMO Project Manager

Hybrid Opportunity | Distribution PMO Project Manager I | Denver, CO Are you a highly organized project professional who enjoys keeping projects on track, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting large-scale infrastructure initiatives? Our Client is looking for a Distribution PMO Project Manager I to join their team in Denver, CO . This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting distribution capital and operational projects by coordinating project activities, managing documentation, working with vendors and contractors, and helping ensure projects move forward efficiently and in compliance with company processes. What You'll Be Doing Coordinate project setup, planning activities, and financial approval processes. Support multiple capital and operational projects from initiation through completion. Create and maintain project documentation, folders, and records using SharePoint and related systems. Process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and SAP invoicing activities. Coordinate vendor assignments and contractor onboarding while ensuring compliance with training and documentation requirements. Partner with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to keep projects moving on schedule. Assist with project reporting, reconciliation, audits, and document control. Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, standardize processes, and increase operational efficiency. Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, project management support, finance, technology, or a related field. Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external vendors. Knowledge of project planning, documentation, and business processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the utility, construction, engineering, or infrastructure industries. Hands‑on experience with SAP, SharePoint, Google Earth, or similar business systems. Experience with procurement processes, including PRs, POs, invoicing, and financial tracking. Background in contractor onboarding, vendor coordination, compliance, or document management. Experience supporting process improvement or PMO initiatives.
