Critical Care Nurse - Contract Position Location Plymouth Hospital Shift Details Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked. 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Start date: 11/30 only. 8-week assignment duration. No holiday requests off; no more than 3 days requested time off (RTO) allowed. All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application. Unit Description The Critical Care Center is a 14-bed unit providing 24-hour intensivist coverage. It serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical conditions. Requirements Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission. Current ACLS and AHABLS certifications required. Minimum of 2 years ICU experience with demonstrated competency in: Ventilator management Vasoactive and sedation titration Hemodynamic monitoring Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management Post-STEMI care Continuing education evidence preferred; CCRN certification is a plus. Additional Information Pass/fail testing for telemetry/ECG and medications will be administered prior to acceptance. Please ensure strong candidates are submitted.
