As an Accounting Technician IV, you’ll work independently, take initiative, and provide excellent customer service. You’ll pay attention to detail when processing customer tax /returns payments, reconciling batches to payments, creating new taxpayer accounts, and trouble shooting customers’ accounts. Additionally, you’ll assist customers with Sales/Use Tax Information via phone, email, and in-person. • A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment

  Candidates also must meet  one  of the following combinations of education and experience:
• An associate degree in accounting or business from an accredited college or university and at least three (3) years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or sales tax processing
•   OR
• A high school diploma or GED and at least five (5) years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or sales tax processing
