Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, make diagnoses when necessary, and evaluate the mental health status of patients using standardized tools such as the DSM-5, tailoring individualized treatment plans that respect cultural diversity and specific needs.

• Regularly monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and implement therapeutic interventions to support their mental health journey.

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all clinical interactions, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse patient population within our community health clinic, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. Your role will involve working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses, ensuring that treatment plans are culturally sensitive and tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.

• Active LCSW license in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years’ experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic methodologies.

• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 25 pounds and moving freely.

• Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines in a clinical setting while minimizing exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is two years, candidates with additional experience in telehealth services, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT will be viewed favorably. Experience in community health settings would also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
