In this role you will be responsible for providing smooth and efficient food service to guests during events. Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels property, is a fully reimagined, castle-inspired destination featuring newly renovated guestrooms, elevated event spaces, and three vibrant dining outlets. General Responsibilities: Ensure banquet rooms are set according to banquet event orders and management specifications. Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible). Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute. Review and understand event plan at beginning of each shift. Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition. Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items. Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest’s satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen. Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal. Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies. Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures. Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked. Set tables to standards, and that all items are clean and in good repair. Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments. Perform other related duties as assigned.
