Position Description The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include performing account reconciliations and consolidation processes, maintaining the general ledger, performing audit preparations and responses, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. Accountant must have a good working knowledge of the company’s business, USGAAP, relevant tax implications and financial analysis skills. Accountant should also possess strong IT skills, such as the MS Excel, the ERP system and other accounting related applications and software, be detail-oriented, highly organized and accurate, and able to work with little to no supervision and meet the due dates. Responding to other departments’ request is also essential. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assisting book closing and preparing accurate financial reports in a timely manner Assisting the bank reconciliation in a timely manner Train and assist with purchase order/inventory system Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts Keep improving the book closing, and financial reporting process Assisting with annual external audit preparations and HQ internal audit. Assisting with investigation and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance Performing other accounting duties assigned by the manager and management Position Description Continued Competencies Teamwork.
