Description:
Seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
The position is available PRN on an ongoing basis.
Providers can work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
Exams are primarily interview-based and include some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
There will be no prescribing or treatment involved in this role.
Providers must have their own office to see patients, as there may not be a facility in the area.
The office must be within a certain mileage radius from the designated city.
Following administrative work will be required on a regular basis, including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics.
Candidates must be proficient in METs testing and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
Completion of specific training is required before starting the role.
Candidates must have a current CV with a home address included.
There is no reimbursement for certification or training prior to employment.
Providers should specify their availability for the position along with any limitations on traveling to other locations.
Weekends may be accepted but are not required.
