Job Responsibilities

• Devise Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design specialized therapy plans that empower them to attain their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods that improve motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities for your patients.
• Engage in Interprofessional Collaboration: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure patients receive thorough and integrated care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide educational support to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy practices for sustained progress at home.
• Track Progress and Adapt Interventions: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on a path to success.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement to pursue continuing education and additional certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
