Designer

A global, integrated firm specializing in workplace strategy, commercial interior design, and construction, is looking for additional support in their Chicago office over the next 6+ months!

Job Description:

Develop and coordinate workplace/corporate interiors projects through all phases of design and documentation

Create and maintain project drawings, models, renderings, and presentation materials using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

Independently execute, and review design and technical documentation through Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) phases

Produce renderings and visual presentations to communicate design concepts and support client meetings

Coordinate FF&E selections, specifications, vendor communications, and design intent throughout project execution

Prepare and support client presentations, project meetings, and presentation decks

Collaborate with internal project teams to align on scope, budgets, schedules, and project deliverables

Track project hours, workload, and phase progression to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met

Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain project accuracy and progress

Review project deliverables for quality, consistency, and adherence to client and project standards

Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and consultants while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work independently with minimal oversight while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Design from an accredited school

6+ years of experience

Workplace/corporate interiors project experience

Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint

Knowledge across all phases of a project

Ability to independently execute, coordinate, and review work through DD/CD phases (renderings, technical drawings)

FF&E experience (reviewing specifications, vendor coordination, design intent)

Ability to manage own project hours and phase tracking to meet project schedules/deadlines

Experience supporting client presentations and meetings (presentation material & decks)

Experience coordinating with internal teams (pre-construction) regarding project scope, budgets, deadlines

Bonus qualifications: Accreditation in LEED, NCARB, NCIDQ and/or WELL; Enscape; Miro

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
