Bilingual Phlebotomist Early Morning Shift
Location: Riverhead, NY
Schedule: Early morning shift, 6:00 AM early afternoon (Sunday availability required)
Compensation: $18 $24 per hour (based on experience)
A busy healthcare facility in Riverhead, NY is seeking a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist / Lab TechnicianLevel candidate to join its clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who prefers early morning hours and is available to work Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients
- Demonstrate strong lab knowledge, including proper tube selection for each type of test
- Properly label, handle, and process specimens accurately
- Prepare specimens for transport or in-house testing
- Maintain a clean and organized lab and draw area
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Requirements
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Strong lab knowledge required (must understand which tubes are needed for specific tests)
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Spanish speaking required
- Strong attention to detail and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Must be available to work Sundays
