We're partnering with a St. Louis-based manufacturer with decades of industry success to hire a Manufacturing Engineer focused on welding operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around welding processes and wants to own improvements, not just suggest them.

What You'll Do

• Support daily production needs within the welding department
• Design and implement weld fixtures and tooling
• Develop and refine welding processes (MIG, TIG, spot, flash)
• Program and support robotic welding operations
• Troubleshoot quality and process issues using root cause analysis
• Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and quality
• Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, sales, and project teams
• Support customer interactions, including occasional sales calls or site visits
• Collaborate with vendors on equipment and process needs

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with robotic MIG welding in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication environments
• Experience with fixture design and process improvement
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues independently
• Strong communication skills across shop floor and leadership teams
