Regional Station Manager - AtlantaProvides day-to-day operational oversight for multiple staffed and unstaffed stations within an assigned territory, operating as part of a larger district in the Southeast-Off Corridor Division. The support includes managing frontline staffing activities, administers operational and administrative processes, and ensures adherence to labor agreements, safety standards, and company policies. The role requires significant field presence across the assigned territory, frequent travel, and the ability to respond to operational matters outside of standard business hours, as needed.Essential Functions:Oversee frontline staffing and station operations within an assigned territory and operating budget targets, while ensuring adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulationsSupport the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and discipline, in accordance with corporate policies and applicable labor agreementsConduct station and facility audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, financial, and customer service standardsDrive operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction by optimizing passenger-handling processes, supporting on-time performance, leading service disruption recovery efforts, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve service issues and support facility needsPartners with Finance to maintain accurate timesheets, accounting processes, Ariba invoicing, and crew-calling activitiesMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED Plus 3 years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience Plus 5 years of relevant work experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience supporting passenger services, including passenger handling, service delivery, and operationsDemonstrated ability to manage frontline employees across varying level of responsibility, skill, and experienceDemonstrated ability to lead frontline employees, apply labor agreements, and manage performance, conduct, and employee relations matters consistently and effectivelyDemonstrated ability to effectively support and manage budgetsWorking knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, with familiarity with Amtrak labor agreements and safety programsProficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing softwareDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to support collaboration with various departments, agencies, and internal and external stakeholdersEnvironmental Conditions/Physical Demands:The salary/hourly range is $78,600.00 – $101,844.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary.
