Registered Nurse NICU

Registered Nurse NicuTryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for our client in Rochester, NY 14621-3011. This is a 13-week contract assignment. Position Title: Registered Nurse NICU Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3011 Duration: 8 weeks (Possible Extension) Work Schedule: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Deliver specialized nursing care to Level II NICU patients.Assess, monitor, and care for neonates requiring intermediate-level care.Attend C-section deliveries and provide immediate newborn ( "baby catch ") care.Float to the Postpartum unit as needed for newborn care.Collaborate with neonatologists, OB teams, and multidisciplinary staff.Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.Maintain high standards of patient safety and family-centered care.To be considered for this position, you should have:Active New York RN License (Required before submission)Minimum recent NICU experience, preferably in a Level II NICUExperience with Epic EMRAbility to attend OR deliveries and provide neonatal stabilizationBLS and all applicable neonatal certifications as required by the facilityFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyCandidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facilityTryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
