About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting, trauma experience required License: Registered Nurse license from the state or compact license Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, Red Cross, NIH certifications, TNCC Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals - Working under the highest level of professional license Description: The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The department is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical or trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients. Must be available for holidays and every other weekend. Experience in a large hospital setting and in the field of specialty is required. The position is clinical and patient-facing. Scrub colors and dress code are solid navy.
