Operation Manager

Account ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage the financial operations and support sales growth for one of our Ferneries. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience with accounting tools and software, and a proven ability to build and support sales operations. Prior experience working with nurseries, farms, or horticulture-based businesses will be a strong advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating expenses for the farm.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants as needed.Systems & Tools:Efficiently use accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).Maintain and improve financial tracking systems for inventory, sales, and expenses.Generate periodic financial and management reports to support business decisions.Sales & Revenue Support:Support the development and execution of sales strategies for fern and nursery products.Track sales performance, customer accounts, pricing, and margins.Assist in building new customer relationships and maintaining existing accounts.Coordinate with operations and sales teams to forecast demand and revenue.Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.Operations & Coordination:Work closely with farm operations to align financial planning with production cycles.Support inventory costing and valuation related to nursery stock.Assist leadership with business planning, cost optimization, and scaling initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in an accounting or account management role.Strong proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel/Google Sheets.Experience supporting or building sales and revenue operations.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working with nurseries, farms, agricultural, or horticulture businesses.Experience managing accounts in a small to mid-sized business environment.What We Offer:Opportunity to work closely with leadership in a growing ferneries and nursery business.Competitive compensation based on experience.A collaborative and hands-on work environment.Opportunity to contribute to both financial stability and sales growth.
